What’s the process of hiring a mobile hair & makeup artist?

We’ll send you an email to let you know my availability for your date and to let you know we’ll be calling you for your complimentary phone consultation where We’ll get to know your beauty needs so we can make sure we’re a good fit and be able to send you an accurate quote. The process of working with a professional artist is so much more effortless and all together more fun when you’re matched with the perfect artist for you, so we’ll also get to know you a bit to ensure we’re a good fit.

After our call, we’ll put together an accurate and comprehensive quote (cuz who wants to be surprised with hidden costs after the fact!). This quote will include a breakdown of costs, an approximate wedding day beauty timeline and will provide info about some optional add-ons that may interest you and is attached to your contract, so when you’re ready to proceed, all you need to do is sign and make the first payment (you will be prompted to do this after signing).

When we’ve received both your e-signed contract and your booking retainer, we’ll secure whatever artists are needed and then countersign the contract and send you a confirmation of booking email which includes a beauty prep guide to give you a starting point to plan your head-to-toe beauty leading up to your special day. It’s important for you to note that we can’t hold your date in our calendar until step 3 is complete – so don’t wait too long to book so that your date doesn’t disappear!

After your booking is confirmed (step 4 is complete), you’ll occasionally get emails from us – some of these emails include your wedding day beauty schedule (for you to provide to your photographers), a scheduler to pick your trial appointment, prep guides to help you and your bridal party prepare for the appointment and sometimes we’ll just be to collecting more details from you…..we offer a full services experience to you, so we’ll walk you through all of this as effortlessly and stress-free as possible cuz after all beauty should be fun not a chore! 🙂

You might be wondering “what’s that exactly? Do I really need it?” and these are excellent questions! Which is why we’ve created a guide to get into the nitty gritty of it with you – What is a trial appointment and why you should have one? Even tho it’s noted in your contract, to make it as easy as possible for you, we’ll send you a trial appointment prep guide a few days before your appointment, so you’ll know what to do with your face, hair and wardrobe for your appointment. Trial appointments typically happen at our home.

We’ll have sent you prep guides for the wedding day that go over everything you need to know (this is all noted in your contract as well). We’ll show up with assisting artist(s) (if applicable) and we’ll have all the products and tools we need to glam you ladies up! You don’t need to buy any products (unless allergies/skin conditions need to be accommodated)! The contract and prep guide detail what we need with respect to the location you’ll be getting ready at. And that’s it…we show up with printed copies of the schedule and get to work, pampering & glamming you lovely ladies, sharing laughs with you, keeping you stress-free and having fun while you relax and enjoy your time celebrating your special day!
